After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

Coffee Puk's as fire fuel

edited January 1970 in Have your say
Well, I was running short of stuff to burn...

OH look there a full Knock Box of coffee puk's  and mostly dry...

Well, they turn into hot spots and just powder up  ;D

Mind you the back yard does have a different sort of a smoke smell  ;D

  • lol.  I think they are better in compost AM.
  • Funny :D  I was just thinking how lovely our house smells after roasting and after seeing your comment if coffee pucks would add to that smell (then again maybe ewww), I love going to sleep with the smell of roasted beans in my nostrils :)
  • I keep getting this image of green and brown, green being the old and now moldy pucks and the brown being the newer, fresher pucks, mmmm marshmallow :)

Green beans have one smell...  But toss in 20% of brown and it gives off a slight roasted aroma.. Trust me it also help to disguise / hide any others that might just happen to be generated during a nights sleep :-)
Nothing could disguise/hide the odours that I generate during sleep. NOTHING.

Yep I'm with you Richard.  Only problem is I'm in a sleeping bag all weekend coming up due to being away on a Music camp.  Imagine me waking up in an over-inflated Dutch oven and now know why no other staff member will share a dorm with me... WINNING!

So what you are telling us is that "You Stink" I hope you make up for it with extra charisma KK
  • I've been dumping my spent pucks on the rose bushes out the front for the last 7 years, which represents about 180kg of green beans, the roses are thriving. ;D
