After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

Coffee taste changes with the season.

Evening all, sorry bout the prolonged absence, things slowing down a little now so will hopefully be around a little more.
To the thread title, I've noticed since spring has sprung and the temp has started to climb a little my coffee preference has changed from shots to a long black, never happened before.
Am I unique or do others oscillate a bit as well. ;D

  • I normally have several types of coffee styles and probably don't notice as much as you My staple is coffee with milk This alternates with straight espresso also syphon on occasions & Greek Turkish coffee So variety is the spice of life even if its just the one product KK
  • I'm contemplating iced black coffee this summer. ;)
  • Im loving filter coffee with three cubes of ice at the moment!
  • I'm about to pour myself a large Scotch and soda with 4 ice cubes, does that count? :D
  • Milk coffee is very popular with my crew but lately I have introduced them to the joys of lighter roasts and brewed coffee, so much so that my wife has been requesting pourovers in preference to espresso based drinks. I swing between pourover, espresso, short machs, flat whites and long blacks!! :) Last summer I really enjoyed a few cold drip coffees with soda water and ice, very refreshing on a sweltering Perth day :D
