After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.
Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.
If AM sets up a roasting & cooling station in a shady spot I can set up the KKTO and roast beans that you bring along on the day We will stick to 600 gr lots Then you can take the roasted beans home for later on KK
Gday guys, Haven't had time to get on the site. Nearly missed the get together. I'll try and get there for sure. Would love to meet you guys. 50/50 at the minute. Cheers Brendan.

Great! Would love to meet you Brendan (coincidently so would my wife after that order I placed yesterday *yikes*) and am looking forward to the gathering. I'll be there early AM with a little girl in tow. Edit: from about 10:30/11ish.
I know that area really well... just a block away from Coffee Guy. My wife's family live near the roundabout on Dickson st. Edited to add - how often are those maps updated? The shots are REALLY recent, of my area at least.
Oh okay... I can work that out. Nice pool BTW... And a boat also no less. Very flash. Kel and I know that area very well having lived up on Buckland Rd for a number of years. Great Aquarium store nearby with Clayield Aquariums and a great equipment supplier with Aquariums R Us. Millie may have to pick out a nice fishy o take home. Discus are cheap right Kel?
Boat ? Pool ? I must be looking at the wrong thing. I see a solar power station with a house under it and what appears to be AM's car in the drive but no boat or pool

Don't mind me feigning ignorance. I'll head for the big house with the reflective roof and the forum logo. Nice AM!
How do people feel about pretzels ? I'm good friends with the owners of king of cakes ( german bakery) and should be able to wrangle some for the meet.
Oh give me a leberkase on semmel bread with sweet senf any day. That is all kinds of awesome. We just don't know how to do processed meats over here.
Nein... senf ist so sussen. Mochten sie Anglish Mustard. Das ist sehr gut! Wo ist der Umlaut? Now, how many Germans did I offend with my opera singer's guide to pigeon deustch? Good news, when I sing in german all the pigeons can understand me!
Coming from South Australia, where there is a great variety of manufacturers, i have to agree. Queensland sucks when it comes to good quality smallgoods. The only decent bakery is King of Cakes. With relatives coming up for Xmas, they have been instructed to bring "CARE" packages. Poppy seed cakes are awesome.
Brett, there's no way I could compare senf to english mustard! Then again, my memories could be tainted by the fact that every time I've had leberkase I've been wandering around Austria. Every time I go back, it's the first thing I ask for.
Great gathering today AM et al, good to see youse ( y'all) and glean some valuable info from all of you - many thanks.
Thanks also from myself and the little one. KK, your generosity was greatly appreciated as always and the Candy Canes.. well one thus far... was enjoyed immensly by a little girl who rarely gets such treats (not that we're mean just watch her intake of sugars, salt, fat etc). Here are some pics:
Thanks AM for hosting, it was great! Hope AMT didn't mind the invasion! Everyone looked like they had fun, and it was good to talk face to face. It was also nice to have company of the drive down and chat to Kelsey. Totally buggered now though. Time for a few beers and a sleep. PS. Thank KK for the sheet of metal, totally forgot about that (Again) and now I have another project over the holidays.
Nice day was had by all, because of the nice company Mrs AM & others apparently liked my coffee Apart from coffee and AMs coffee tree garden - approx 20 trees, we had some international food and coffee paraphernalia displays Roasting displays from the I Roast & the KKTO went down well Great banter & laughter helped the time to fly A big thanks to our host AM and family for putting up with us odd bunch  KK
Brett has a few. It was a fun day, good people, good conversation, good (and interesting!) coffee, jerky, machines and tampers to play with..... Who could ask for more?!?! Thanks AM for hosting, we had a great day.
