After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

    shhh I'm trying to ignore the fact that you  ^-^ are so generous with both your time and your products ;) Thanks for the  :thumb: on my choices, I'm trying to extend my range and hopefully try out some blending that 'might' work :) I've also decided that I'm roasting for some friends as surprise gifts, they'll turn up in their letterboxes as I drive past :)

    I'm down to the last kilo or two of the Yemen beans I bought a while back. Have finally found somewhere I can buy Ethiopian, so will pick up tomorrow 4kgs each of Limu, Sidamo, Yirg & Harrar. Also off to Addis for a short trip soon and hope to bring back more to re-build the stash.  A couple of 30kg suitcases full of beans is going to look a bit odd coming back through customs.....  ::)

    It's only 60-70 roasts so only 20 hours ;) Starting to look at larger volumes of beans and even whole bags (60kg each) makes my stash seem tiny. So going to need more storage capacity first I think equivalent to 4-6 bags worth. :doh:

    :o firstly my 60'ish kg has grown, bred or blown out to 98kg after a final audit so :doh: it does pay to keep track. 35 Varietals, 98kg, approximate overall value of a little over $1500 plus freight (blame the high average on the Geisha ;) ) thanks to my quick and dirty spreadsheet. Better get my roast on  :thumb:
