After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

Im back!

edited January 1970 in Have your say

Hi guys,

in case you're wondering why you havent heard from me in a little while - I've had a lot on my mind recently...

My dad passed away a couple of months ago, somewhat unexpectedly, which entailed a few trips to and from New zealand to sort stuff out

so ive had a lot on my plate recently, but im pleased to say that Im on the up and up!

just had a few weeks in Byron Bay with my family, which has been a much needed and very relaxing holiday - now im looking forward to returning to melbourne, and hitting the ground running with the cafe!

Time out helps to provide perspective, and visiting other cafes and getting served by others for a change, put a new perspective on whatI do and what I have to offer!

Anyways, you'll be hearing from me a bit more often!

Cheers,

Pat

LIKE!! I'm surprised you're not cold-pressing with the rest of 'em.  I've a cold press ready yo go but the weather up here turned... cool.  Having a decaf flat white myself.
  • Welcome back... Yes as we get older and start to look at stability; life decides it is now going to work in reverse. Thus for me it is FIL / Mum / Wife and others who I see experiencing major life changes....  Hence I am looking for new work and a life change to allow more time to be spent with family, while there is time... PAT, I expect that your good nature and passions will not change, but the focus may be a little more intense. Take Care...
