Sounds good, lets see what he can find, I was thinking second hand. could be good to share postage They still make them or are they all vintage? Manual I believe? Didn't AM have one at Micheal's social party last year? He opened the boiler and sprayed everyone! What size portafilter?

Yep, AM had his there. I believe he still has it too. Not sure on the pf size. Pretty sure they are all vintage but parts are fine through orphan espresso.

They are making new ones now with the price$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ I think only little 49.4MM tamper you open the boiler to refill the water, that is how AM nearly killed a few with steam spray damm good build quality from what I read.

Bwaaaahahaha... My wife's iron does this... every time. For reasons I have never quite worked out, she prefers to turn it on and have the boiler come up to pressure, before checking how much water is in it... There's a couple of dents in the ceiling where the cap has attempted to reach low lunar orbit....

I think AM sold it to buy the Quick Mill. They are still made as far as I know. Vintage ones might have asbestos on the boiler. AM's machine did, and I think he just sealed it. Depends on price + freight and import duty though to make it worth while. Parts are still available and plenty of info about antivac mods online.

I don't want one, just in case your asking. :P

I think they started making them again in 2011 but are they worth chasin? new ones a coffee parts are close to 4K maybe a 2011 about 3 years old could be the go if the price was right, would want to get one landed here around 1K but for that kind of money is there something better?

Oooohhh... I made an Ooops... I just punched 'Olympia Cremina Espresso Machine' into Goggles and lo and behold the very first listing is our very good friends @ Coffeeparts... Hmmm, yes the Cremina is very much available as a brand spanking new machine... And yes the investment is very much in the 'higher end' for consumer machines... We're talking Londinium, Strega, etc, price point.... I'm afraid I got carried away in 'the rush' and I definitely wasn't considering such a large investment, nor the potential possibility to undermine a site sponsor.... A good lesson in "Look!- before you leap!" Edit: looks like I was posting at the same time as C-man... Similar thought train too...
