After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

Don't know if anyone saw this weekend's Australian - there was a picture of John Howard opening Vittoria's new coffee roastery; trust Les Shirato to get every bit of PR out of an election campaign!!

    Hi Lars - thought this fitted better in Off-topic - have to agree with your comment - the only thing I'm surprised about is that John Howard's picture got in the paper instead of Les! -A  ;)

    Do they have a use by date??? I'm a bit new at this but I came across a cafe at Mona Vale in Sydney called 2kf. They use Campos coffee and it was awesome. There is also a cafe called Cafe Rosh just up the road where their coffee is pretty good too but its Vittoria. I've just moved from Bris from a cafe voted top 5 and don't know where to find good coffee or people who are passionate about it. Everyone in the Northern Beaches seems to drink flat whites and wouldn't know a ristretto if they fell over it. Help!!

    Vittoria must have been sending out their press releases again - have seen a number of glowing articles recently about their MD Les Shirato. The one i saw was in the Financial Review's magazine - post here if you have seen articles in any other mags! The interesting thing is they've stopped sending us press releases - clearly we weren't saying nice enough things about them!! -A ;D
