  Hi all, Looking at buying a Mazzer Mini but just had a sudden realization.  Does the Mini only come as a doser type grinder?  As mine will ONLY be a home grinder, used maybe 3 or 4 times a day I only want a doserless grinder. Many thanks in advance, Dins

  The Doser model is several hundred dollars cheaper then the electronic versions. You should look second hand too as the Mazzer Mini will last decades and so is a good thing to buy used Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  As per above post The mazzer mini comes in both versions Doser & Electronic And I have no issues with a used grinder Just install a new set of burrs KK

  Wow!  That was quick.  Many thanks gize.  I really don't want a doser as in my situation I'll end up tossing out more coffee than I'll use.  Any recommendations for a similar quality doserless grinder for around $800 or less?

  If you can fit a larger grinder for the money then I would recommend that you upgrade now rather than later Size of burs makes a huge difference in the cup and easier usability I can’t offer you my BNZ MD74 because it’s not electronic, but you get a competition quality, large conical grinder for the same money KK

  I think you can find better value elsewhere - a bit over-priced for what you get. All of the Macap, Mazzer, Compak grinders will last a long time in a consumer environment. 3 or 4 cups a day - the slow speed of a Mini would drive me crazy.

  I was just bemoaning the fact that a new set of blades for me em4300 costs about half as much as a replacement grinder and was thinking to myself maybe it's time for an upgrade and then I remembered that I have a hardly used mazzer super jolly in the shed - boom, win for the team!

  Yes and  ditto I pulled my Rancilio Epoca out of storage and put my Sunbeam Cafe Series into semi retirement (a bit like me) and now boom - I hardly need to leave the house except for milk and occasional coffee beans when I'm too lazy to roast my own!
