After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

Voltage issue

Do I need to change the volatage of my (american) krups coffee machine to use it in Europe?

    Hey R - voltage in US is different from Europe [& from almost the whole of the rest of the world] - so assuming your Krups is like most other appliances, you would definitely need to change to 230/240 V. -L

    no disrespect intended but Krups is hardly top of the range or particularly expensive - wouldn't you be better off getting a new machine once you got there? pat
