After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.
Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.
ok guys. awesome news! I'm the happy owner of a BES900!!!! just picked it up at the store Haven't tried it yet as I have no grinder, but i'll try to pick a smart grinder tomorrow from a HN.
Mate, don't tell me actually sold you the machine for $850??? Surely not... Or are you not allowed to say? Congratulations on your new machine! If you've saved that much then surely you owe it o yourself to go to the next level of grinder... Vario, Mignon, Mini... find a local retailer over there and have a play. The K3 push is worth a look but just check the collar doesn't have any play... If so avoid... It's just one more thing to worry about as a newbie dialing in. Keep us posted.
Yup Mate. I was incredibly lucky. On top of that, I just picked up a BCG800 for $165 so for both $1015 This was due to a Salesman error, but who am I to say "No, please don't sell it to me, I'll pay you more" took some patience and time from my part though. without the Salesman error, I think the best price to haggle down to is. $165 for the BCG800 and $1100 for the BES900. If anyone is looking to buy one THAT is your target. on that note, I'd like to ask you some questions Brett. but I can't PM?
Mate, seriously good price even if you had to wait. I think that for $1100 the machine represents seriously good value for money (providing reliabliltiy is proven). To get both units for this price is quite outstanding. I've sent you a PM so you can reply to it. Regards BH
