Thats just with the cup tray off C-man, remove 3 screws on the side panels and the whole side comes off takes about 30 seconds. Chester

good Access makes things so much easier, with a good manual service and repairs should be pretty easy as long as parts are OK to get.  Looks well built and pretty straight forward plumbing wise I have no Idea whats involved inside those paddles?

that's a tough decision lets see..... 1. sit there and look at a new green Slayer for 6 weeks                             or 2.  hook it up (which needs to be done anyway) and start enjoying it.

Congratulations on your acquisition! May  it bring you many years of joy and fulfillment. Thank you for sharing the photos of the inside of the Slayer, it was great to see the build quality. I must admire your resolve. It must be extremely frustrating to have a new toy that you can touch, but not play with. Just hook it up.... you know you want to.

I might look at installing her tomorrow, shed builders will need great coffee to keep them going won't they? In the meantime here is the bowling ally bench top I have been working on, 2nd coat today with plenty of fine sanding and many more coats of clear to come. Attachment not found.

Me thinks a bowling alley is somewhat longer than 2.6 M, so there has to be some more lying around either at Chester's or his supplier. Or, there could be a lane at the 'local' losing balls halfway down the alley!  :rofl: BTW Chester, it's looking like a knock out bench for the "green" goodies. Well done :exclaim:

So temporary power all most finished, water line installed so should be playing with the Slayer by the weekend. 9x4 meter shed all ordered, approved and paid for. Silver Streak all pulled down and new twin burners fitted, probably another week For Mark Beatie from Coffee Roasters Australia to do all the wiring and set up the coffee sweet software. The ball is well and truly rolling  on this project now :thumb: Thinking that a Crema day will definitely be needed, so start considering a date roughly 8 weeks from now but I will keep you posted on that. I really  like the 2 separate PIDs  each group has a different temp to play with............way cool let me know what temp the Nikessi likes as I have saved most of  my 500grs. until now Ii could not resist a couple shots though.

Spent the day at the Gold Coast playing on the Silver Streak learning the new software and roasting beans. Verdict, awesome! the new level of control was impressive. Just need the shed guys to turn up and start the final piece of my puzzle. Chester

Chester the 2 gauges at the front of the slasher, are they brew pressure or boiler pressure? cheers! still waiting for a pre-social invite to taste that bad boy.

Center gauge is a dual function PID for steam boiler (120) and pre heat tank (85) Left and right PID are brew boiler, left set at 92.2 right set at 93.4. Can't talk publicly  about "pre" social visit C-man the forum has ears.  :D Chester
