Electrics chased in, started  insulation and first few lining boards.  ;D Hope to have the walls finished by the end of the week. Chester

SilverStreak goes up on the dark walls then the rest will look like this. Slow going dragging sheets around in  the heat and still recovering from the surgery. I know, harden up and get it done!!  Attachment not found.

12mm veneered ply with a 18mmx18mm gloss black enamelled strip. (hate using enamel) Walls are now all insulated and most of the sheets on the wall, tomorrow will knock that side on the head  :thumb:.  Then it's time to scrub the concrete ready to prime and seal. Getting closer.

That's a good place to start me thinks  :laugh:.  Still tossing ideas around but polycarbonate coro sheets in white are looking like a nice option, just screw straight to the existing bearers, no need to batten it out. Slide in the eco wool as I go, job done. Need to earn some coin before that will happen though  C.

OK so walls are all finished, electrics in, waters ready to go once the cabinets are in and tomorrow I am going to seal the floors with a vision of moving the SilverStreak across on Saturday then fit the gas and fluing.  Sunday, cabinets and then the big lift to bring the bowling alley bench top into place. Everything is moving along nicely and all going to plan everything should be up and running by next week. Attachment not found.

"It's beginning to look lot like Christmas" for the 'Streak' to be underway in its new home. Any thoughts on a special inaugural blend for the occasion?  :thumb:

Moved the SilverStreak into her new home and she looks amazing sitting there. Finish the fluing tomorrow then it's time to start on moving the Slayer  :thumb:  Everything will be up and running by next weekend. Chester

Got the hole cut in the roof and the fluing fitted and siliconed, an hour later was hit with a major storm  ---  NO Leaks  :thumb:  Going to be a coffee free zone as of tomorrow for a few days  :'(, maybe I better have a morning coffee then disconnect the Slayer.

Slayer disconnected, benches moved into roastery, all electrics finished, SilverStreak 100% operational.  :thumb: Tomorrow morning have to go and collect the bowling alley bench top (it's crazy heavy) Think by Saturday I will be able to sit back and enjoy the coffee's of my labour. Chester

LOL This is so exciting mate, we're all living vicariously through you and as an aside from a home roaster: I've bought beans from MyCuppa recently and LOVED THEM I've bought beans from Supreme Roasters today and them I read about your journey so there must surely be a time soon when we'll all be adding you to our let's buy from list so that we live, grow and learn. All power to you mate and keep us posted!

Thanks BrettH for the kind sentiment, I really look forward to getting it all finished now, as it is so close to done.  I also hope that not to far after Christmas I can host an open roastery weekend and all those that are close enough can come check out the roastery, play on the Slayer, bring some green along and roast a batch on the SilverStreak and let me thank them for the support and inspiration I have personally received from being a member of this forum.  First forum member I met was KK, helped me improve my milk technique on my  Bezzera, wow how things have progressed since then, has been a great and exciting journey and it's almost time to turn it up another notch  ;D I will try and take some almost finished photos tomorrow. Chester

It's certainly good to receive and give back to the community eh. I've been loving your coffee via C-Man so it would be great to put a face to the name/beans!  It's all looking fantastic.

Put the bowling alley bench top in place today and moved the Slayer across. So as promised a few almost finished photos. [attachimg=1] Plumbing in the Slayer [attachimg=2] On the bench [attachimg=3] Front view [attachimg=4] Roaster Tomorrow will see the water filtration connected and the slayer up and running, a few final tweaks, bring in some stools and benches, finally have a clean up. Tomorrow night will be ready to do the first roast in the new setup and pull some shots on the Slayer.  Still have to pave outside but think I might have a couple of days just to enjoy the new roastery. Damned right you should mate! Very impressive and well done. Now, take a moment or two (or three) to sit back and enjoy it all. :coffee2: The (little) finishing touches can wait a little longer. Requesting some vids on your "open roastery weekend" for us folk too far to join you. Please!  8) Who knows, given enough notice, maybe a flight north could well be on the cards.  :P Kevo
