After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

  • I may be wrong about this, but I believe that Nestle have been roasting locally in Melbourne for some time now through a very well known local roaster, and that they already have brand presence here through the local (and very up-market) Gelato Antico del Corsa (sp?) Cheers, Pat
  • actually Pat, it's talking about Nespresso's crappy proprietary pod system. Stale coffee roasted months, if not years ago! -A
  • Proving itself once again as the Coffee capital of Australia,  Melbourne.... .......already located in stylish hubs such as Paris, Milan, Zurich and Sydney. So Melbourne is the capital but Sydney gets one first????? According to Nespresso General Manager Jerome Casteigt, Melbourne
  • Why anyone would want to drink from a pod is beyond me! p
  • Marketing at its best gents... Aussie are sheep and will believe what they read - until they get burnt!
  • Sounds plain bad but I'll try anything once.
  • Interestingly, the Sydney 'boutique' is located on King St near Castlereagh - where all the Cartier, Louis Voutton (sp) shops are. I have walked past a few times and have never seen it very busy.

There'd no enticing aroma to lure people inside, what with all that pre-ground coffee stuffed into sealed pods :P.
  • Nespresso = crap -  what else can you say??? dR
