After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.
Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.
Perhaps this should be in the Best Cafes area but as its kind of a double edged post thought I would post it here.
Made the arduous trip down to Adelaide yesterday and bought a brand new used car from "Near New Cars" at Goodwood road Cumberland Park.
During the course of the transaction I felt the need for a coffee, the owner of the car yard "Nic Barnes" directed me to a cafe right behind his yard called "The Perfect Blend" as soon as I walked in I could sense it was an above average establishment, small, clean, well set up, good range of cakes and pastries and the young lady behind the counter was well and truly switched on.
Ordered a long black and a Bee Sting (type of custard filled cake with honey and almond topping, the coffee was way above average as was the cake.
The perfect Blend is situated on the southern side of Woolworths car park at Cumberland park, well worth a visit.
As a matter of interest the service I received from Nic and the cars he sells are also well above average.
No one paid me anything for these endorsements, simply felt compelled to comment as its not often nowadays you walk away after spending a substantial amount of money feeling good about the whole experience. ;D
