After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.
Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.
I very well may do that KK. I would love to go for a trip north, as I am from around there. Also my friend "Danny Young", whom owns "Espresso Botero", formerly "Coffeeart". Is based up that way too. It could be a coffee excursion.
Sounds like a plan first stop Maclean then on to Brisbane You can give me pointers with latte art, because I suck To interested in the taste & flavour KK
Planning a trip to Di Bella for that purpose. I'll keep you posted on my plan to drift up on my coffee excursion KK. Having many good friends and family between here and there, I'm sure I'll make a holiday of it. Happy to share my Barista tips with anyone. Easy to learn, hard to get good at.
Also with potentially having a closer (proximity) course. From the many glowing recomendations I have been given about "Peter" (and that it's being paid for). Distance is no trouble, and would actually prefer the time in a climate that stays within tollerable levels, and doesn't change 34 times a day :D

And of course it's a beautiful day down here in Melbourne..........except I'm roasting all day. Alas all I can do is look out of the rollerdoor at he wonderful sunshine. :'(
I should have been roasting too but the Sun was shining so a little bike ride around town in the sun followed by a G&T was in order. Shorts and T Shirt weather in a Victorian winter who needs QLD ;D "O" not sure if you know Luca Costanzo or not but he has a Quest M3 he uses too.
"O" you can also follow on Twitter Ducale Coffee to win a free roasting course Many Crema members have done so If I win I will pass it on to a Melbourne local http://twitter.com/#!/DucaleCoffee KK
Do we Brett??? ;D ;D ;D I know I don't hehehe My OH said the other day that he was told that he is very lucky to have me as he can do whatever he wants (well besides using a router in the lounge room, yes it did happen once when he was making speakers, never again LMAO) in the house, his workroom is actually the real lounge. So when it comes to my roasting, it is nothing compared to what he does ;D Anyway back to the topic...
Oh o is under conrol. I want to hear more about plunge routers in lounge rooms. We have been the King and Queen of plaster dust on and off but worse, was it's cousin concrete dust. Using a brick saw in a bedroom is my marital disharmony claim to fame. Back OT, do you have a family o that you'll be bringing along for this career side stepping ride? If so, freebees like the one KK has mentioned would ease any marital concerns.... even if you don't win just by entering may prove to a partner that you are value conscious and considerate of the family income. Like SS, I am often told how lucky I am that my wife indulges my tech, Reno, espresso flights of fancy, but I know she just wants in on the act. Makes it hard to save when you are both spurring each other onward however.
When I was younger I used spray paint in the white carpeted lounge room using A4 sheets of paper as a drop sheet...... Thankfully now I own my own home, the worse I do is drill timber in the spare bedroom. The missus knows to say away until she hears the vacuum cleaner turn off for the final time.
Fortunately for me, I have a free and easy life. I'm 35, I have a son, and my ex loves me deeply and supports everything i do to further myself in the industry. My girlfriend thinks that I should do anything to feel satisfied in my work. My bosses are going to pay for my training (or a roaster, up to $5000). No mortgage, My rent is cheap, and I'm completely focussed on succeeding. So again....fortunately for me my life is free and easy. Sorry for gloating, but I really do love my time in life right now. And am looking forward to the next phase in my life, in which I intend to devote myself completely.
Thanks AM. I appreciate the suggestion. Sorry for late response. The 55 hour week soaks up the time. I think I may have a very loose offer in the pipeline too. But will investigate V's. Thanks
