After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.
Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.
Perhaps I should have mentioned the tables were in fact made from Turpentine and indeed in the cool climate they were sold in, they would last 100 years underwater.... The gallery is in Lygon St Carlton and given that's smack in the middle of Melbourne's Cafe and Restaurant and Dare I say it... Coffee culture... Well yeah I reckon that there are quite a few people that enjoy their coffee's at those beautiful handcrafted tables...
Can you do a nice bright colours with some beans floating about inside? Or does that stuff up the strength of the handle?
Beans do able Lacehim but previous experience tells me they are a PITA and gas is forced from them as the resin cures = bubbles on the surface of the beans which looks crap.
Quiet deliberate. Two stage pour. Looks really cool in the flesh where a big blob of black has hit the top of the bolt and oozed down the side :D Serious Brett ? If so, no problem.

Hmmm, crossed wires I think. I'm talking the transparency of the handle in the section where the bolt is. I deliberately made mine with the bolt showing.

Not crossed wires, I'd love the bolt to show but just a little less than the one pictured. I also need to commission a couple of other bits for the machine to match but will let you know that in due course. I'll pay for these other two first so you don't run short of supplies stockpiling my unreasonable demands. Love the shape by the way! The first prototype ala KK's handle is not to my liking...To much competition.

The PF handles on my machine are a superb fit & feel for large hands The Atomic mushroom cap one you refer to as competition is the Lever handle not the PF handle KK

They look like a match so that's all I can ask. Love the swirls on the handle!
I've picked up the stand and the handle and all I can say is WOW! They look amazing (good in the photo but mind-blowing in real life) and match the woodwork in the kitchen perfectly. Thanks DX for this awesome kit and thanks also for the great cup of coffee and chat: Kuda Mas kudos!!! :thumb:
I dare say you're not the only one Kelsey. I love wood too but.....if only in came in funky colours and was impervious to the environment it lives in
