After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.
Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.
That sounds like a plan you two . I have just made a cuppa, after having to make an emergency run to school to pick up a sick 16 year old, but next one I will use the Suuweet beans ;D.
Matt and I are sipping on one now. We couldn't wait ;D. I think I over tamped or may need to fiddle with the grind as I almost choked the machine but she sure is tasty. I'm just waiting on Matts opinion now.

great to hear Sue. What's the body of the coffee like?
I would not know body if I fell over it GeekKopi ;D.
LOL from the interwebs --> "The term body describes the physical properties – heaviness, or mouthfeel – of the coffee as it settles on your tongue; the feel of the coffee coating the tongue, and whether it is oily, grainy, watery, or possesses some other characteristic."

Fresh beans will do that Sue, as the beans age the water tends to flow through a bit faster so you need to grind a touch finer, don't over do it, only a small adjustment needed.

Easy to do with shots GK, with milk based drinks not so much, sue uses milk. However a good indication is watching the coffee flow from the portafilter spout, thick, syrupy viscous flow = lots of body.

I will take more notice next time ;D.

Will do Db. I have popped the other beans back in the hopper, hopefully they will be finished by this time tomorrow ^-^.

Yep, I am a milky cuppa drinker ^-^. Coffee was quite thick and syrupy.
While I'm waiting for my order from mycuppa I picked up a small bag of Black Mamba - The Maling Room at a local cafe. Syrupy body and sweet with a chocolate berry finish. Great cup. I had mine straight and the mrs had it with a latte.
Nice looking set up, GeekKopi. Been a little disorganised this long weekend. At home today, out of beans and feeling lazy. Luckily there's a café 300m from our house - I think they sell Toby Estate so on balance, the lazy option will do fine :-).
ill put the machine on Kevo and warm up the muzzy too so we can go for a cruise.
Geez mate, now I've really got the tongue salivating. :P :P Seriously though, next time I go to Melbourne............... a coffee & cruise could be on the agenda. :thumb:

sounds good. Just give us a shout out and it can be arranged. I'm just over the bridge from the cbd.
I know, I just watched it on FB :D. I just had a cuppa of the Suuweet, one of the best yet. That was after overfilling the basket, not being able to get it in the group properly, thinking she'll be right, firing up the machine only to have the portafilter coming off and breaking my espresso glass I has sitting there waiting to be filled . I am already approx. half way through the bag :o.

I've been there sue. Messy! I remember when I did my espresso course a while back the guy next to me on a two group machine didn't lock in his PF properly and it went everywhere (on my clothes) when the PF popped out.
